The first Hai Karate commercial was a :60 second black and white spot. Nowadays, :60 seconds seems an eternity. So this is the first we did in :30 in color.

It features actor Rik Pierce whose face became synonomous with the brand as the campaign rolled on. Before Hai Karate, Rik had been  clerk with Prentiss-Hall in Englewood.
