This commercial was a spoof of a popular coffeee commercial in the 60's.

Peter Coooper, who directed this spot, found a way to make his lowest price  based on shooting it in Marrakesch, -- as opposed to Los Angeles or New York.

When his Morrocan assistant director had a busload of "beautiful" young girls driven down from Casablanca we were shocked to confront a different standard of "beauty." So we wound up recruiting our women from poolside at our hotel, La Mamounia. Of course, in the end, it didn't make any difference as they were all veiled anyhow!
